I've had water jet clean-out recommended to me.
Recently had plumber out for a very slow drain (80-year old house, we're the first "new" owners in 76-years); he snaked it to main then used wter jet from exterior clean-out. Found tree root problem.
Will have him out again with video to pinpoint exact location in back yard, then have other man dig and fix.
Never wanted to be a plumber, and will look forward to twice-annual maintenance once that problem solved.
