As fitted to Ford Rangers and Mazda BT-50s, the rumor is letting the oil drain for too long can cause the oil pump to loose prime. Is there any truth to this? Something concrete from Ford in writing?
it happens' with lots of different motors, orientation of the pump has something to do with it.
is there some reSon you cant prime it manually if the need arises?
