But keep in mind that the car is in the air. Engine wasnt running so the air shocks didnt want to go low propperly.. I think they will fall deeper in the fender with a couple of mm.

That looks like a lot of wheel to stretch a 215 tire onto. It’s going to ride like crap I’m afraid.

The fronts are only 8.5J so that would give it a very mild stretch but since the load is not enough on 215 Ill be sticking with 225.

I'm pretty sure ill go for 225-50-18 all around.

The et makes it look very wide.

Here's the math for our American friends;

225 divided by 25.4 = 8.86"

An 8.5" wheel divided by an 8.86" tire = 96%

8.86" + 18" = 26.86 OD tire Call it 9x27" between friends. (26.86 X 3.14 = 84.3" roll out)

Yep, moving the wheel out (more negative offset) will make the tire more prone to rub at full crank.

Moving up to a 235/50/18 will give you a 9.25 X 27.25" tire with a 85.6" roll out. Your speedo will read 98.5 when you are travelling 100 kph.

I wouldn't go to a wider wheel than the tire manufacture recommends.

I would also like to add when running stretched tires, you have to run a higher tire pressure which which also hurts comfort. 225 on a 8.5" is still a lot of stretch. I ran 245s on a 9.5" wheel for a season and there's just so much rim of the wheel exposed to the elements, not to mention the huge comfort and performance hit.

I'm assuming you're still at stock height now but you want to slam it in the future?

Thanks for the calculation. The original spec is 245-45-18 or 225-55-17.
The 18 inch rim is 7,5 or 8j I believe.

I am really hanging to 225-50-18 all around.
The sidewall is even a few mm higher so that may balances the comfort a bit.

I am always dring on 2.4 bar. I really hope I can still do that but we will see.

The car has original beautiful comfortabele air suspension and I have a special device. With this device I can lover it (when I enter a meeting or something) and give it back its original hight with one push of a button. Above 80 or 100 the car lowers itself 1 cm for a better drag. (Its such an intelligent car!)
