This was the last of my PUP stash. I now have HPL Premium Plus 0W-30 in the sump. I will run 2 OCI with the HPL and do another UOA. Most people suggest no further than 5000 mile OCI on GDI turbo charged engines, but I drive quite a bit (mostly expressway) ands find myself doing oil changes every 2 months. With HPL I may look to extend my intervals out to 7000-7500 miles depending on the UOA.

Add another 100 to Moly, Phosphorus, Magnesium and Zinc. Then see to it the oil ends it's cst@100 run above 9.

THEN ..... I would call PUP a real fine GTL oil, based on a typical 5-7k OCI.

Nice to see another CTR UOA! Looks good especially for the amount of miles driven. How hard do you drive, stay in boost?

Check my UOA post to see how 5w30 EP held up..

Honestly mostly of the miles are expressway miles on my work commute. I normally don’t push it that hard although I did just get back from Tail of the Dragon.

The 5w-30 ending up with 8.7cSt is due to fuel dilution, Blackstone can't measure it acutely
PUP is very thin out of the bottle and shears down with use even in non-GDI applications. Fuel dilution maybe be contributing to some unknown extent in this case but it's definitely not the only reason and probably not even the main reason for the low viscosity.
Oddly when I've run 0w-20 it has remained within viscosity spec. At least on the UOAs that I have done.
Exactly.
