Hello this is my UOA from 2022 Sienna, that calls for 0w-16 oil per manual (0w-20 allowed).
Car sees a lot of daily short trips (3 miles 1 way, which will change soon to longer trips), and prolonged idel at times whne kids fall asleep inside and we can't transfer them to bed.
Oil was drained while car was cold and not driven that day, hense elevated fuel as expected. Oil filter used that time was STP "Extended" with silicone adbv.
Right now, since warranty is expiring soon I staring to use up my stash. Starting from oldest spec oils I have. Current fill is old SL rated 4q M1 HM 5w-20 + 1q SN M1 AFE 0w-30 + can of LM MoS2. Planning to continue 5k OCIs.
Latest report has a typo, oil was changed at 54,995 on odo. Numbers here are Idemitsu 0w-16 + LM MoS2--> LM Special Tech 0w-16+LM Ceratec --> Napa 0w-16+ 1 qt HPL cleaner 30 grade.

Viscosity is too low. Try a 0w-20.

Use at least 20 going forward. But you can use up to 15w-40 in the a25a fks if you so wanted but of course it's not needed. Use up whatever you have left. If you have a can of mos2 I guess use it but I wouldn't bother buying any more since even the best oil additives are usually a waste but if you like it buy as much as you fancy. Once you run out of your stash you'd be served great with FS Supertech or kirkland 5w-30 and keep changing at 5k or less. If you want something better walmart has M1 ESP 0w-30. I wouldn't bother with AFE.

Not that it is that cold in central TX, but it does get very hot, hence why thicker oils during summer time.

With all due respect, you are all over the place with viscosities and API grades!

German Castrol ( what a wonderful oil!), Castrol Magnetec, Meijer (Warren), Ravenol, Havoline, and Valvoline R&P.

And from 0w-16 to 0w-30.

With 5k mile OCIs in that engine you will be fine after 2030. I think.
Considering you are using API - SL and SN oils in a few of those changes.

And yet another great example as to why one shouldn’t hoard oil to the extent you’re covering oil changes five plus years out.

Good luck with your AI assisted oil change plan!

Lots of fuel (370F flashpoint) that isn't showing up in the UOA because Blackstone doesn't actually measure fuel. I'd say you are probably somewhere between 3.5-5% fuel, which, if you plan on doing another UOA, would be nice to verify by using Polaris/OAI instead.

I got some synthetic 5w30 I'll sell you cheap, we have 2 EVs now.

You can see from the chart a few posts up that in countries not subject to CAFE, you can use a variety of oils.

Well, my ai generated schedule got removed. But I have plenty of oil to last till 2030 with 5k changes, including 30 weight oils. But thank you for the offer. Our second car is an EV also, so only 1 consumer now.

how does the engine sound with 0w-16 ? ,,my Subaru sounded very clattery, like a typewriter, went to 0w-20 then 5w-30 PUP,noise is gone. ant the MPG is still very good.

It is a noisy engine in general. I did not notice any difference in 16 and 20 weight so far. I did however add a sound dampening material under the hood (that fiber looking panel that most cars have on the inside side of the hood). And additional panel near my feet that also has sound dampening material attached. That muffles noise a bit, but it is still a noisy engine in my book. 2018 Outlander Phev we had previously was so much better in terms of engine noise and cabin insulation…
