2022 Buick Envision factory oil filter CUT OPEN

This filter was off a 2022 Buick Envision SUV at work. Had 7,200 miles on it. Put 0w20 synthetic and a WIX 10351 back in ad on. Guessing made overseas.

That would make sense. Produce most of them in china where most demand is & then just bring a small portion of those over to the US. Good Spec sheet you presented.

The Envision is made in China, so the filter probably is Chinese, too. Does it say "Leak Tested" on the top?

As far as I know. They own 50% stake in the gm head in China. Not the USA head. But with today's buyouts and selloffs anything is possible.
