She doesn’t get driven quite as much anymore as I just picked up an F150 a little over a month ago. Commutes to and from work 25 miles one way as well as joy rides on my time off, and commutes to the gym 6 miles away. Every now and then I’ll go on a twisty backroad cruise and get the oil temps elevated a bit. Pretty good report, fuel dilution is an estimate, but at < 1% I’m feeling good about extending to my normal 5k mile OCI that I was doing on 93 prior to E85 tune. Replaced with Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30.

Looks good and it'll be Interesting to see how the 30 grade does for you. Keeping the miles off the Mustang is the idea? Thanks

That would thing is consuming a quart of oil after so few miles? I had that at that mileage in a pentastar, I have not seen that in a coyote or EB before.
They misprinted that. It consumed 1 pint in 4k miles. They also misprinted the viscosity and mistook it as “0W-10” initially.

Just always wanted an F150, paid off the Mustang and now I’ll drive it on sunny days or when I want to joy ride. Will keep mileage somewhat low but that’s not the intent. F150 is much more practical, and a lot quieter lol.

Half a quart oil consumption in so few miles is still unusually high
Doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve seen some Mustang owners complaining of 1qt in 2-3k miles, especially the 2018 MY, as well as the 18-20 F150 5.0 guys complaining over a quart every 1-2k and Ford calling it “normal”. I’ll take a pint over my usual 5k mile OCI. There have been a few OCI’s where I haven’t had to add a drop. It varies.

for an E85 car and knowing how extensive those timing chains are, i think the wear looks totally fine and probably worth just running this oil for another couple analysis over the years to see how it tracks. 5k is probably about all i'd have the guts to try on E85 but with 10quarts of capacity you can probably pull it off safely.

how's the car treated you up to now? always loved that gen of mustang, especially the Mach1.

Car has been great, the E85 tune and headers made it even better. I also have a soft spot for the Mach 1 and have contemplated trading for one. But I don’t know how much sense it would make with all the money I have put into my current GT. If you could swing a Mach 1, I’d say go for it. Very unique car.
