2021 + '22 Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid A.W.D.

I really like Toyota Hybrids, but I'm just not a fan of small SUV's. I guess I'm old and like low slung, powerful, aerodynamic and capable cars.

Seems like Toyota is keen to "Crossify" everything. Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross. Might as well throw in a Camry Cross and even try for an Avalon Cross. Now, a Supra Cross might be interesting...but it would probably end up being a rebadged BMW X1 or X2.

Mitsubishi is trying the "Cross" thing with the Eclipse Cross. The sales of that are literally plummeting off a cliff despite reviews that indicate it is a competent little vehicle. The 2022 redesign is supposedly pretty good.

In everything from a Tacoma V6 to a RAV4 Hybrid to a UX 250h to to a Corolla HB to a YarisCross, the Dynamic Force engine, w/MPFI-GDI combo,
is proving to be a real winner.

AWD & eCVT gives it great balance.

The oils are trending thinner too.

I'm not a fan of SUV's, either. That said, I have to have one because of where I live. I drove nothing but sports cars until I moved into the hills in the middle of nowhere. Now? I need an SUV, so why not a small one that's kindof quick.
