Good to know about the filter housing. It is hard to know when that o-ring has sealed. You have little feedback from the threads.

SuperTech 5W-30 Synthetic changed at around 7500 miles is the norm on ours.

I did my oil cooler last year. If you are semi competent with a wrench, it's not too bad. Took me maybe 6-7 hours taking my time and I changed the spark plugs at the same time.

In doing the math on a 100k engine with 5k oil changes thats only 20 oil changes or about 13/14 at 7500 mile oil changes and of course 40 at 200k Is not that much I they can make a plastic gun hold up to 25k rounds then 40 or so on and off with the plastic cap should hold out provided you dont over tighten it.
