2020 Kia Forte LXS Kendall GT1 Max 5W20 4,800 Miles

This is the old formula of the Kendall with the titanium. Replaced oil with Valvoline Extended Protection 5W30. Any one have any oil recommendations for this engine? Its the 2.0 liter Nu MPI non turbo.

I just put Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30 in 2017 Elantra with that engine. No oil usage at 33k. Used it for 5 oil changes. Honestly, this engine does not seem to be picky. Also used 10w-30 Chevron Supreme 5w-20 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and saw little difference in fuel consumption and performance.

Yup, Thats an easy engine. Any off the shelf oil will perform the same. If you engine is still wearing in, let it do so with regular oil changes.

I use whatever reputable 5w20 I find on sale. My 2019 2.0L Forte seems to like them all. I run 6K OCI's.
