I have a high milage (190k) Yaris that has the Mazda 1.5L engine that is not sold in the states. The car was purchased used approximately a year and a half ago and is in great condition overall. Right after purchasing the car, I did a transmission fluid pan drain and fill, oil change, plugs & air filter. In the past few months, I started experiencing delayed starting via the push button. The car would crank but take longer than usual. I narrowed it down to most likely the fuel pump, so I just replaced that, and it I think that fixed the delayed start problem due to low fuel pressure. I still have some start up rattle noise after the car has been sitting overnight. Does anyone one have an idea what this is from and if it's something that needs to addressed right away or if it's not worth messing with on a high mileage commuter car. Cheers
