It is now made in Wales. Or at least thats where all the replacement blocks are coming from for people that had TSB 20-2100

The 1.5 Ecoboost 4 cylinder is no longer used in the Escape. The new 1.5 Ecoboost is a 3 cylinder engine known as the Dragon series.

You’re correct on the 3 cyl. I made no mention of the newer engine. Don’t know where that came from or your assumption that I’m talking about the newer engine.
