Turns out it’s the fan on the bulb. Man, I feel like an idiot!

When I unlock and when I start my Silverado when it’s cool, it sounds like a mourning dove is behind my pass side headlight? Nothing is obvious that I can find? The air box is there, but no idea why it would make that sound before I start it, just unlocking it??? Any ideas on where to look?

Could it be the headlight? My Caprice headlights have a fan, you can hear them running. Not sure what else could be over there.

I would have thought somebody was yanking my chain if they told me my head light had a fan. Never heard of it. Mine are liquid cooled with blinker fluid.
Not only that, the fan's gotta have bearings so in keeping with the "muffler bearing" joke, Headlamp Bearings are now actually a thing!

LED' s have fans- spend sometime on upgrading the Halogen on F150s to LEDs on aftermarket bulb websites.
