I took ownership of this vehicle at 58,103kms and have done reduce OCI in between the dealer services. As this is an known troubled engine, I took the pan off to check the bottom of the pan for filings. Thankfully there were none, not a single grain. Pickup screen was completely clear. Hopefully now with regular oil changes using a slightly thicker oil to counter the DI fuel dilution, I will have no engine problems.

Varnish near the pan I could wipe away by hand so in time should be able to clean that up by the oil.
Underside of the piston all in similar condition, side which faces the oil squirters was in better condition than the other underside.
No movement of the conrod to the crank when pushing by hand.

With any Hyundai/Kia vehicle, in my personal experience of owning/maintaining 4 of them in the last 15 years, is follow the severe maintenance schedule.

I would change the oil/filter every 4,000 miles / every 6500Km or so.

Considering the long OCI's at the start of this cars life, it doesn't look too bad. Your last interval was 6,201Km, which is perfect IMHO.

That all looks like normal wear
I have a 17' with the 1.6 and religiously change the oil between 3/ 4000 miles
Castrol Edge full synthetic 5W-30 and I only use OE Filters

I have a 2017 Tuscon with this NU engine. I have valvoline change the oil in it with white bottle 10w30 every 3500 miles. Gumout cleaner added with every oil change. The switch from 5w20 to 10w30 has stopped almost all the oil consumption, I maybe add a quarter quart every 3500 miles now of makeup oil.

I just turned 70k miles on mine, and Hyundai sent me a warranty extension for 15 years or 150k miles so I'll drive it a bit longer.

They allow 15W40 and 20W50 over there? We have a 2.4L and says 5W20 :alien:

I've been using lots of 10W-30 and some 0/5W-40. Feels thin to me now! I shall bump it up. lol
