2017 MINI JCW - 0w20 Factory Fill - 6000 Miles

I got the factory fill on my JCW analyzed. Doesn't look too bad for a low viscosity oil in a direct injected european engine. I believe this oil is made by Shell.

We're sure you're having lots of fun with your new JCW MINI, and it's starting off analysis with a good report. Typical wear we've seen from these engines is shown on the far right after ~4,600 miles on the oil. Those averages may change over time since we don't have a ton of samples in the file yet, but it gives a starting point for how this engine might wear in an oil change or two. There's some copper wear-in, but that's normal for a factory oil fill. The TBN is strong at 2.6. Up to 8,000 miles next time is fine, assuming that doesn't interfere with your warranty.
