2017 Honda Accord Sport SE. Did a 3X drain and fill 11-19-19 at 32,591 miles. Did a single drain and fill with Amsoil CVT on 6-7-22 at 61,941 miles.

Wouldn’t mind stretching out the interval but I think I’m going to go with Molakules recommendation of 25-30K mile drain intervals since he has mentioned several times how the cvt’s shear the oil worse than regular trannys.

Truly and excellent report. Think Honda makes an excellent cvt transmission overall but noticed lubeguard-which has a cvt fluid-recommended 20 thousand intervals with Honda and thirty thousand with other cvt vehicles.

I’m pleased with the Amsoil fluid. Amsoil says you can double the manufacturer recommended interval but as I said, going to stick with 30K miles give or take

I’m sure the Honda Hcf-2 with the same interval would probably yield the same results

It is an easy drain and fill and you put new fluid in there each time. My wife has 2015 accord put redline non slip cvt in vehicle since about 15000 miles and she has 135000 on it now… usually have it changed yearly when car is inspected

That's about the same report I received at my previous CVT fluid change with 89,000 miles on my 2015 PathFinder.

And I too, change fluid about every 30k miles.

What do you hope to see with a change in fluid brands?
Nothing really, just hadn’t seen it before, and I guess just to be different.

But as mentioned, I’m going to stick with Amsoil since I spent the money for the initial case for the 3X drain and fill, and the four quarts for the most recent drain and fill.

Also as mentioned, sticking with your 30K drain intervals. 👍

I'm getting ready to do a full switch over to redline Cvt fluids so I'm going to pull all the filters out hopefully within the next week or two if I can get some spare time to get it up on the left but I'm waiting on a transmission pan gasket that's on backorder.
