did a drain and fill with MaxLife, about 2.3 quarts came out (also tilted the car backwards a little to get a little more out). added roughly same amount back in. Along with 4-5 oz of Lubegard Red.

scanner trans fluid temp was 38-40 deg C (100-104 F) when I topped it off. Test drove fine. will see if it slips anymore.

now should have 53% Redline D6, 33% MaxLife, 13% old fluid. This 3rd DF was done at 136k miles.

Old fluid was rather dirty.

How about an update, mate?

The 2016 Camry 2.5L Auto is running great.

Last Trans DF at ~136k miles was on 1/2021. Its at about 140k miles. Due for an oil change at 142k miles where I will look at it more closely.

I have not detected any slippage while I was driving it.

I think the MaxLife tones down the "slipperiness" of the D6 just enough. The Redline customer service did say customers would mix the D6 with other Redline racing ATFs in order to tone down the slipperiness.

Currently: 53% Redline D6, 33% MaxLife, 13% old fluid.

I would not hesitate to do a 50/50 mixture of RL D6 and MaxLife in the future, but to save money I would probably just use MaxLife--or a complete flush with OEM to see how that feels.

A relative is borrowing/driving the Camry right now so I do not have it.

Its a great economical vehicle. Wish I had sunroof, leather seats, RWD and navigation head unit.

My goal is 300k miles. I'm doing ~7k mile oil changes and good preventative maintenance. We'll see.
