Today’s project: swap out the cd/dvd receiver in my 2016 Suburban.
The old one started making a terrible noise and eventually quit reading discs. I tried cleaning it with a cleaning disc and compressed air with no luck.
I found a Dorman remanufactured part through AutoZone at a significant discount with an additional 20% off coupon and free shipping.
I had to tear a lot of the dash and center console apart to get to the cd/dvd receiver, but it only took me two hours start to finish following this YouTube video:
Everything seems to work great now.
