2016 Ford Focus ST 86.2k mi, Kirkland 5W-30 4.4k mi

Hi,

First time post. I've owned this car since new, I typically change the oil twice a year when I change from winter to summer tires and wheels. I used 5 quarts of the Kirkland 5W-30 and .7 quarts of Mobil 1 5W-30. I drive the car pretty hard and have a short commute to work ( 6 miles each way), so I'm pleased with the results. For reference the oil change indicator on these cars comes on around 10,000 miles.

Could there have been any recent work or possible contamination during sampling?
Results look good across the board & seems to be working great. Good to see a one owner vehicle after 9 years.

In July of 2023 at around 73K I had the harmonic balancer and main seal replaced as well as some work to the cams performed. Maybe that is still washing out?
Thanks, other than the above mentioned repairs it has been a reliable, fun to drive vehicle. I’m not sure what I’d replace it with if I had to.

It's just a baby at 86,000 miles. Keep up the good work and I like Kirkland oil too especially for my Civic.

The expectation is that there would be no difference whatsoever in the UOA's.

In looking at the additive levels, viscosity and low fuel combo, I'm betting this was Supertech Advanced 20k oil.
