2016 Civic 2.0 CVT | 5600 miles | Long Idles 4k miles/month

I work in sales and my car is my office. I drive A LOT and idle around 2hrs per day, I also start my car probably 20+ times per day. This is my SECOND UOA, trying to find the right oil for my strange driving behaviors. This just under 6,000 miles as I am using the OLM to change at 10%. I am guessing the OLM came on earlier this time due to longe idles in the summer heat.

Thoughts on the M1 vs PP?

Virtually no difference between those two oils. Report looks good.

Thanks for the info! My brain likes the Pennzoil best so far. It's likely imaginary, but, the M1 seemed a bit louder on cold start. The Gas Truck is quiet on cold start so far.

pretty significant difference in the viscosity between the two. wish they'd test for fuel dilution or flash point as well. but, it looks like your civic doesn't care what you put in lol

This reads as the PP being more viscus than the M1?

Hmm, not really but more shear stable than M1.
