With 115k miles, I guess our Odyssey is getting close to due for something being up for needing replacement besides bulbs, brakes, and sway bar links.

I think that item may be the window regulator, but I’m not really sure. My wife indicated that it was making noise at the very top of its run.

I cleaned the track, there really wasn’t anything there, and then used some dry lube for RVs.

It hasn’t helped. If I leave my hands off, it still makes the noise at the top. But what I learned was if I push on the outside of the window, inwards, the noise is gone.

Video of it here:

So I don’t know what that really means. The windows are clean, squeegee is cleaned and lubed too.

It sounds like the noise is coming from the inside of the door, but when I put my hand on the b-pillar trim, and not push the window inwards, I can feel a slight vibration on the pillar.

Do I need to try Shin Etsu on that track?

Thoughts?

I would try anything someone else advises if they add to this thread. My 13' CRV, ( looks like the same thing as per pic ), driver side regulator crapped out at 30k. Same thing, making noise toward the top run. Was using car for jobsite work, up and down all day talking to workers. Fortunately, the car was still under warranty, and Honda replaced the regulator. 15 yrs later, I'm retired. The ODO has 614,853 on it, and regulator is still working fine. Go figure.
