My 2013 Volvo XC70 T6 is at 95k km/59k miles. I did a triple drain and fill on the transmission a few thousand miles ago with Liqui Moly Top Tec ATF 1800. The car certainly smoother after that, so it's time to do some more maintenance. It seems both the Angle Gear and Rear Diff use about a quart of SAE 75W90 API GL-5 oil, but at 50 beaver rupees per liter, I think I can shop around for something potentially better and cheaper.

I've got Royal Purple 75W90 available locally, but I can also order Liqui Moly 75W90, and Amsoil Severe Gear 75W90. From what I've seen, the Amsoil seems to flow really well, but does that mean it has lower viscosity than expected? I am weary of stories of grenading angle gears.

Cheers for any help.

50 beaver rupees per liter

Just get some of this. Much cheaper and works well in my vehicles.
