Replaced the factory plugs with the same NGK Laser Iridiums. Easy job on this car since you don't have to pull the intake plenum to get to the back plugs. I was expecting the plugs from cylinders 1-4 to be beat up from VCM but they didn't look too terrible. Plug 6 looked the best of the lot. None of the gaps were wildly off either.

I had a VCMuzzler installed for about 30k of the 85k miles but took it off a while back because it messed with the temp gauge and constantly tripped a P0128 code.

I noticed the idle with the A/C on seems to be a tad smoother now. Let's see if fuel economy gets a boost.

Gaps look a little Wide, No? Especially #2. Other than that…….

Edit: Re-reading your Post, I see that you state the gaps were not wildly off….what where they? I’m assuming factory spec is around .044 or so…….
