What do you think the new Miata will look like? I've been trying to find out what this re-designed car is going to look like but have had little luck.

Rumor is, they're going to try to get the weight under 2000 lbs....back near the original's weight. I have two '90s and they're fun to sling around.
Some discussions about maybe a turbo'd 1.4 litre....lots of speculation though.

That's awesome, especially if it can weight under 2000 lbs
No way on 280 and weighs 3100 lbs. Its only real driving dynamic drawback is FWD Now if they put that kind of power in a RWD Miata weighing 2400 lbs with all modern amenities, they'd really have something.

Have you driven a 1990 Miata with no AC? There is something to be said for light weight that doesn't always show up on performance specs. That said, I'm sure the market is bigger for a heavier, more powerful car.
