Not much to say. Previous UOA was with Amsoil SS 0w-40. Once I got above 10k miles it started to show worse results. For now the plan is to change it 3x a year so I can avoid changing the oil in the middle of winter but now that I have a big heater sitting in my Amazon cart I might try 10k to see what happens
currently in the sump is another round of Castrol edge 0w-40 next time I think I’m gonna try Mobil 1 0w-40.
Winter sees me remote starting the car for 10-20 minutes about 4-5x a week so I like to shorten the interval a bit in the winter

Well the 13k wasn’t as good as I’d hoped, so I just did it and changed it before the snow started to fly

Now that I have a garage heater I’m going to try extending my UOA’s again. I drive almost exclusively highway miles. Except my wife goes to work with this car 3x a week 5 miles each way with 10-20 min of idling before the car ever leaves the house. Other than that it’s all highway miles and we drive about 20k per year
