2012 Civic Ex four door, good car?

On the topic of Civics, can anybody speak to them from a family point of view? Can you make them work with one or two children in car seats?


My son that's looking at it has one child, and another any day now. He says the two seats fit fine.

In my opinion the 2012 is a fine car. Nothing inherently wrong with it. Sure, you never know about any car 100%....but odds and reliability data is far and away on the side of it being a good vehicle. The 2013 is an improvement, but certainly not like night and day if compared.

I'd pass, but that is just me.
The 2013 is a lot nicer overall, although it is the same basic sheet metal. I would pass on the entire generation all together and hopefully they make a nice upgrade to the Civic like they did with the 2013 Accord.

Consistently one of the best cars on the market for the last 40 plus years! If you can get a good deal...I wouldn't worry about any of the late model Hondas.
