First UOA done by Blackstone. What do you think?
I like the huge dose of moly but the TBN looks a little bit low for a good oil on short OCI? Also is the Insoluble numbers normal?
Anyway happy about the low wear level in my engine.

Yeah, but full syn version brings better base oil...... Not sure which one is better at protecting engine
As to the blackstone comment. We’re you trying to get a base oil makeup, just cause, or were you trying to figure out if whoever changed oil put synthetic in the sump? It definitely matches the full syn versions of Valvolines oils vs their syn blends.

Just out of curious. Since I paid the test fee why not get more info? It can also verify if Valvoline tell the truth on their website.
(Not until I shipped the sample and read FAQ for a while did I realize they can't test that)
