Whatever you're doing, keep doing it; I think this is the cleanest 1.4 I've ever seen with that many miles on it. Just yesterday I had the valve cover off of one with right around 100K on it and was having to scrape carbon deposits out of the large rectangular ports in the front of the head, and the fair majority of them I've seen look pretty bad.

The valve cover gasket was leaking. Figured I would take these pictures for your viewing enjoyment. The engine has 150,000 miles. I bought the car at 100,000 miles, previously owned by a mechanic who's wife put 100,000 miles on the car in 18 months (regional sales manager) oil change interval...

Still original turbo? I thought these 1.4s had turbo issues, but that may be on a different model like the Encore. Nice and clean, though I'm sure someone will come in and say 10k miles is too long for a small turbo engine.

The only common issues in these engines are the PCV system issue, and the thermostat housing issue. Everything else in these engines is solid.
