I recently picked up an IS-F for a fun car and one of the big selling points for me was how immaculate the engine was inside at 80K miles. The vehicle was always dealer serviced (I have the records) and it is noted on each ticket that the customer supplied Mobil1 5w30 every time. This is what I see:

I’ve always used LiquiMoly in my euro stuff and was planning on using that new Molygen oil as it seems like good stuff. But after reading on here, it has a high NOACK.

Should I stick with the Mobil1 since it has worked so well?

When I bought my BMW at 15 years of age (the car, not me) that's what it looked like inside.

Can't beat pics like that!

first things first it's a good engine. What did the record show OCI's at?

They were always about 5000 miles. Which is probably the biggest reason why it’s so clean.
