Anybody know what size replacement bolt or part number I'd need for a new camshaft position sensor bolt for a 2008 Vortec 4200 Straight-6 engine, I took mine out earlier to inspect if it was covered in sludge or varnish on the sensor, and the darned bolt fell in a place where I couldn't retrieve it and further attempts to retrieve it knocked it off somewhere, and I have no idea where it went, I can't find online what length and thread the bolt is or even find an ac delco part number, I even downloaded some service manuals and there was no help there.

Pretty sure it is an M6x1.0 flange bolt 20mm long but I will check later tonight to see if I can find more info. Its easy enough to check, try an m6 if its too small then it probably an m8x1.25 and put something in the hole a wire or similar to determine the depth.
bolt is m6x1.0x25, p/n is 11562426
Common Ace hardware metric flange bolt, get the 20 and 25MM long than you have it covered
Ended up picking up a pack 6mm-1.0x25mm hex bolts at lows they had a 10mm hex.
Does it fit?
Fit just fine.
