Ahh, a courier. If they pay you by the mile, it makes sense to get a small efficient car that can get 38 mpg at 80 mph.

dumping a 5w-30 synthetic in the 1.5 ltr. of the YARIS tames the buzz / noise quite a bit . That's our experience with the 2 YARIS we own and the PRIUS 1.5 engine ( I.C.E. ) that we owned previous to the YARIS .

I haven't spent much time in a Yaris, but I've spent enough to know that my butt and back would be wicked sore after 400 miles a day in those seats. I guess if it works for him... But if I was driving for my job I'd choose a more comfortable vehicle based on the health savings alone.
 
drove over 100 miles a day 365 days a year for about 10 years in small cars such as PLYMOUTH Champ / DODGE Colt , FORD Festiva , and CHEVY Novas ( Corollas ) . The '86 NOVA had best seats . Thanks to the lumbard and height adjustment .The seats were well padeed and contoured as well .
