I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport with the 3.7 V6 and auto tranny. It currently has 820 miles on it. I just brought it to the dealership for a recall to flash the suspension computer. While there I took a drive with the tranny guy to let him see how the transmission shifts into overdrive between 2nd and 3rd gear. He then said that the overdrive button would stop that from happening. So, I disengaged overdrive(I had already done this prior on my own) and showed him how it still went into overdrive on a 2nd to 3rd gear shift(instead of a 3rd to 4th), effectively lugging the engine and needing to build up RPM,s. His response was that the tranny has a 1000 mile break in and that things might change yet. I have a feeling that this is going to get ugly.
