Here is the most recent UOA for my 2005 Buick LaCrosse.

Good report! I'm happy that the Pennzoil 5w30 did not shear down to a 5w20, unlike the last oil I ran, which was STP full synthetic. The silicon is out of the system too and no evidence of coolant.

Your previous report had a problem with fuel dilution not mechanical shear. That’s independent of the oil.

Nice report. I am not sure if I am disapointed with the oil's TBN. I would have expected a little higher for less than a 4k mile run...

I seldom go beyond 4,000 and usually not beyond 3500, so the TBN was OK for me. I'm running a Frankenblend right now. After that it will be PPHM most likely, or maybe PP Euro L.
