Lead seems to be high in this UOA. LC was 8oz at beginning and 1 oz every 1k. FP was also added at the recommended dosages.

Blackstone actually commented on certain synthetic base oils attacking the bearings. I was curious if they ever noticed that RL shows higher Pb, for whatever reason. I'd use Mobil 1 in this engine.
 
Subaru approves a wide range of viscosities for this engine, correct?

I'd run M1 0w-40 without an additional additives for an OCI...

If they are saying that in his comment, and he used red line, most likely they are hinting at something.
 
Did you run RL in the TSX as well?
Hondas show a lot of lead when RL is used.
 
Was the previous OCI redline as well?
If so, you "might" want to discontinue using RL. I'd be all over M1....I just couldn't sit there and watch RL clean this much metal off my bearings.
