My buddy needs an air filter for his truck:

1) Amsoil EAA123 $47.95
2) Wix 42487 $19.95
3) AFE Pro Dry $43.95

He is leaning towards the EAA Air Filter or the AFE Pro Dry.

The EAA Air Filter is good for 4 years or 100,000 miles.

The AFE Pro Dry is a lifetime air filter.

What do you guys think.

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra with 149,000 miles.

I've used the original paper one, the K&N, and now the Amsoil EAA123.

I highly recommend the Amsoil EAA123 - great breathing and air filtration.

This guy is replacing his air filter every year because he puts a lot of miles on the truck, and I feel he sometimes drives in some dusty conditions.

Obviously an AFE Pro Dry or the Amsoil EAA Air Filter would be more economical.
