Gonna be looking at one this weekend to buy. Give me some options on oil. I'm not even sure what weight it takes.
10W-30 I'd guess. I think it has about 70-80,000 miles on it. Not sure about what oil it took before.

I think it specs 5w30, it should take around 7.25-7.5 qts of oil. Something like Pennzoil, Valvoline, QS will work great for you.

7 plus quarts of oil. Big sump, nice. Wonder what kind of OCI I might use on this?

You can run almost anything in there, just pick your oil by how long you want to use it.

Run 30w if no consumption. You can easily go to 40w if needed.

IMO, less than 5k per change, then use Dino. If you want to go further then any name brand synth and a nice filter ought to be good to 10k miles.

I was gonna say I've read that 0W-40/5W-40 works well on older Hemi's that don't have mds. the 10W-40 HM you have would work great.

In 2003 for Ram's( 1/2 ton and HD's )the 5.7L spec'd 5W-30 in all temps and also allowed for 10W-30 above 0F.
