Cool data. And very low wear as is usual with this oil. This oil is great but it's funny how much it shears in so many engines. That doesn't seem to be a problem at all. It has a nice additive package and is a true synthetic in the classical use of the term. It probably uses thinner basestocks and relatively more viscosity index improvers than other similar 5W-40 oils. Either that or its viscosity index improvers aren't very stable. Again, it doesn't seem to hurt it at all. Great report.

Really very impressive except shearing. Always suspected a good performance in Pentosin oils. Pentosin, may be, is one of "the lasts of Mohican" in the world of lubricants using a true synthetic in 5W-40. Quite rare brand oils, even in Europe.

What air filter are you using? What kind of driving style & conditions? I assume the lab is Oil Analyzers (or Cleveland Labs)?
How long are you planning on going before you drain the oil?

Not sure what the air filter is. It was new when I bought the car a few months ago, so I didn't mess with it.

Driving conditions are mostly highway. Averaging about 75 miles per day.

The lab is at Ohio CAT.

I'm planning on running it until it's "worn out".
