I have a co-worker with such a vehicle, and he says it's getting a swampy smell when he runs the A/C.

He bought a cabin air filter, but cannot find where to install it.

Does anyone here have one, and have they done the job before, so I can offer him some tips?

Pictures would work even better.

Thanks in advance.

All the cabin filters have bought came with instructions. Have you looked in the box?

Do a goggle search for "2001 Tahoe cabin filter location"

It's not here, I'm just looking for an answer for a co-worker.

I've found a few pictures on-line. I wanted some personal experience to share with him if anyone has it.

Thanks again.

Usually AC filter is behind the glove box.
He'll have to take it off.
I would squirt a little bit of Lysol on the new filter beforehand. Let the fumes kill whatever might be growing there.
