The PS was "filthy"? Really? Sounds a bit questionable.

I think that Lexus uses synthetic fluid in the PS but not completely sure. It would be unusual for PS steering fluid to be filthy unless something was seriously wrong.


Dexron ATF or T-IV in the PS do not use synthetic,

BTW, WS fluid worked great in my 2004 RX330. No cold T-IV hard shift in the winter.

WS is not back spec'd for T-IV.
