Just curious how it would do. it was a 50/50 mix of 20wt. and 30 wt oil. The oils were 1 Qt of RedLine and 3 quarts of Kendall High Performance. Results were fine but gas milage didn't improve. So forget the 20 wt (for me)

Not happy with the silicon. I need to look for a manifold leak. But this engine is so repeatable its pathetic. Oil analysisis are actually improving with age if anything.

This engine puts out a bit more lead bc I drive at too a low rpm. Still about 1 ppm per 1000 miles is fine with me.

Al, was the RL the 20wt? If so it's on the high end of the 20wt scale so you're really not gaining much with just one qt of RL 5w-20.

I wouldn't worry about the silicon number, because Redline has a bit more silicon in it than most oils.
