I've never really like Mustangs, nor have I ever been much a Ford guy -in fact I've never purchased a domestic car in my life. But something about the Bullitt Mustang always caught my eye. I love the low key, minimalist look.

So this year I finally found one: Black, 12,500 miles -all original. All stock with the exception of a Pro 5.0 shifter and a K&N drop in filter.

I really like the car but only time will tell if it can replace my OBD1 E36 BMW M3... (my M3 was the PERFECT car in my world)

On a side note, I will be issuing some general complaints about my first Ford dealership experience.

I would love to have either an 01 or 08 Bullitt. Sounds like you found a nice one (except I would have wanted green). The fact that it has a replacement shifter is great. The originals weren't very good. I would also want free flow mufflers or a cat back. You can also get another hp or two by removing the air silencer on the intake (or did the Bullitt come with a CAI?).

I'm in NY driving an M3 or a mustang in the winter is really a not a good idea. -Although I had a 325i and with a good set of Blizzaks and the dynamic traction control, the BMW 325i was not bad to drive at all. (to my surprise)

The Bullitt is WAYYYY too nice to drive in winter. Really the car was a garage queen and although I certainly plan to enjoy it, I am going to treat it well.

I was hoping to find the Bullitt in Dark Highland Green, but Black looks mean as well. -The True Blue doesn't do much for me, its kind of bland.
