just threw out the fram filter ! engine noise on starte up.(now napa gold) looking for a new dino oil (54k on motor) with moly. Does Honda oil have moly??? using castrol syntec blend 5w-30 . THIS SITE SAVED MY MOTOR.

Yes, Another good oil is ExxonMobil Superflo.
As I recall..Honda break-in oil has a lot of moly.
Do yourself a favor and use Mobil 1. 2001 is a fairly new car and you should be using a top quality oil. You can get this stuff at Sams Club for 22.97 for 6 quarts. 5w-30 is the weight for your Honda. If you want to go with a less expensive oil use Chevron Supreme 5w-30 or 10w-30.
Will probably do almost as good a job. This is what I will be using in my 97 accord after the auto-rx treatment that I have going on now.
