Upper trans fluid line that goes to radiator cooler was wet under the bottom cupping of where it’s the hose between the metal tubes. Is this an emergency fix? Can rupture at any given time?

Fluid was not down when checking at idle and warm.

It’s not freshly wet and also black like oil like it kinda dried on the tube. The cup where it’s crimped does have liquid though

it could hold it could go but considering the consequences I'd change the hose. The individual hose is probably $20-30 so I'd probably change them all with its age.

They all leak. GM struggled with the concept of how to crimp these, particularly on the Allys. Apparently they found crimps like this to be new, baffling technology.

Most people just had excessive leaks but our '08 LMM literally blew the line apart. On a quiet back road. Going 40mph.

GM's fix -- if you were still under warranty -- was to replace with exactly the same OEM line. Literally the definition of insanity.

We ordered the full length hose kit from Alligator and scrapped the OEM lines altogether. Never a hint of a problem since and that was a LONG time ago....
