Well I just had a new intake manifold put on it and a new thermostat. the hoses look new. That is where i want mine to run because I feel more comfortable with it never running over half way

Mine never goes above half. Normally it's just above the 1/4 mark. goes to just below mid point on very hot days, and to the middle when idling, but drops back to slightly below 1/2 mark when 2nd fan comes on I think. [/quote]
hmmm...my fan wont come on unless I turn the AC on or it gets 3/4th of the way up the temp hand...I wonder if it might need a new fan switch or relay. maybe a new temp sender?
