I picked up a closeout deal on Rock Auto. Bosch remanufactured Starter. The Integra has 145K original miles, Original Honda Starter. I was not having any issues with the Original Starter, however I was not sure how long it would last. I figured that the brushes would be at least 50 percent worn. To my surprise, the brushes look to be at at least 80 percent! I just blew out the carbon, clean up the connections, put it back together, placing it on the shelf as a spare. So if you have a car with this starter, check the connections for corrosion first, the brushes are animals!

I have an '06 TSX, too. Also a 6MT! Mine has 283k miles...original starter. Also the original clutch, but that's tangential to the thread. :)

I changed the alternator brush on my 06 TSX at 100k, the brush pack was at 50 percent.
