Blackstone's comments: Wear was very low in this sample from your Grand Am, which makes since considering you only ran this oil 1765 miles. The universal averages shows typical wear from this type of engine after 3800 miles on the oil. The TBN read 3.3, so the oil still contains some active additive. We consider anything from 1.0 and lower to be too low. Note the additives in your sample. They appear to be low, though we didn't find any cause for it in your oil like moisture, fuel, or coolant. Maybe they have been diluted by the AutoRx. Use 1750 miles again and check back.

Added 5 pack of GM cooling tabs 1,152 miles into OCI at 146,350 miles. At least the sodium & potassium have went away. Yeah! Oil was changed at sampling with GM 5W30 SL and a new AC Delco oil filter. Comments, fire away!
