This is my dad's truck and he want's it to last forever so he drives it less then 1,500 miles a year or so. He only uses it when he needs a truck which you can tell is not often. He bought this truck new. What kind of oil would be best in this case and when should it be changed? I told him to take it out at least once a week or every other week and get the oil hot to burn off water. He has been using 5 and 10w30 dino oil. Also LC/FP help at all in the engine? Thanks!
