That "Approved for Electrical Safety - L.A. Department of Building and Safety" 'permit' is curious.

Nice radio but everyone then knew that Japanese electronics, cameras and cars would never amount to anything. They knew that "made in Japan" meant "junk".
My Dad had one of those! It sat on the table next to his bed and every night he would listen to a "talk radio" program before he went to sleep.
