187,000 Miles on Mobil 1

Mobil 1 is an excellent oil; it is the only oil I will use in my Crown Victoria.

I have to admit though, when I first joined BITOG I never was a fan of Mobil 1. However, after seeing how clean it keeps engines and Tig's advice, I made the switch and use it exclusively in our cars.

Sorry about not posting any pictures but it started to rain when I had the cover off and I had to rush putting the cover back on. Honest, it looked as clean as I described.

Now it I can only solve the overheating issue and fix the body rust it can be driven another year or so.

Going by the reliability issues with the PT Cruiser in the UK i am surprised it got to 187k!

The reliability issues in North America are nothing to write home about. Cheap parts and hard to work on.
