I enjoyed the article in the OP, and felt strongly that it showed a path.
however
I know a bloke who has engaged relatively recently in parasailing. Looks like a really interesting sport.
He's happy staying at the low level of equipment, where if he makes even a most monumental mistake (bar falling head first into his chute), he can completely release control, and the thing will recover and lower him to the ground...apparently the advanced wings require active control to get them out of a problematic situation.
Hands off and you are history.
Are we in a similar situation with CFDs far greater than GDP ?
